Réponses écologiques à la fragmentation de l'habitat

Résumé de la review

The review of the existing empirical study literature that documented significant responses to habitat fragmentation and its effects on biodiversity in order to analyze several assumptions concerning significant ecological responses to habitat fragmentation and to examine the different methods used to measure its positive or negative effects. The primary aim of this review was to properly address the possible way of how the different ecological components significantly respond to habitat fragmentation, and also how specific ecological attributes respond to habitat fragmentation.

Rigueur de la review

The author reviewed several pieces of literature to answer the research questions. However, the articles included in this review were focused and limited only to the significant effects of habitat fragmentation on biodiversity. Because of this the conclusions have made based exclusively on observations.

Ce que cette review apporte au débat

This review has shown how the most significant responses to habitat fragmentation, which generally experience positive responses of fragmentation. The author indicated that; it’s obvious that habitat loss represents the most significant effect of degradation in biodiversity. However, most positive significant responses to habitat fragmentation were independent of habitat amount.
